Great question! Her lipstick does seem to stay on for a long time.

We went straight to Tamra for this and below is her answer:

“Revlon colorstay (raisin) lip liner. Ambe Aesthetic lip gloss that will be sold on www.tamrabarney.com soon.”

Who makes Tamra’s embellished tops on The Real Housewives of Orange County is a really popular question, so clearly we had to get to the bottom of it.  We went straight to Tamra and asked her.   These tops including the one mentioned above are from Ankh Royalty.  You can find them at a variety of online boutiques.  Here is an Ankh Royalty top that is close to the one Tamra wore when she was planning her party.

We asked Lynne who makes this dress and it is Lauren Conrad! An OC celebrity dressing another OC celebrity - Gotta love it!

The dress is the “Audri” from the Lauren Conrad Collection, Summer 2008.  It is a little hard to find now because it is an older style.  However, Lauren’s Spring 2009 collection is already up at shoplaurenconrad.com.

Where did Vicki get her beach cover-up that she wore with the straw cowboy hat when she was at Lake Havasu with Tamara and their families and when she gets upset about Jeana bringing the her old tenant to the restaurant? - carsen2428

Great question! A lot of readers have been wanting to know where Vicki purchased this paisley-inspired ensemble.  We spoke with Vicki and as it turns out she bought her cowboy hat, swimwear, and cover-up from online store Boston Proper.

We all know that Gretchen from The Real Housewives of Orange County loves to stand out with her fun-loving personality and bright clothing.  So of course we were anxious to see what she would be wearing while in the City of Sin! Below are some of our favorites and suggestions on how you can steal her style.

Lounging by the pool - Gretchen wore an adorable yellow bandeau bikini with halter straps. Gretchen accessorized it with a wide brimmed hat and cute pink shorts for a splash of color.

Hitting the Club - Gretchen went for yellow again, this time in a fabulous yellow halter dress with a jeweled collar.  Gretchen added more dazzle to this number with some large teardrop earrings (hey it’s Vegas!).

Day or night, we can always “bet” on Gretchen’s divine style!

Yup, I’m at it again with my favorite ladies from The Real Housewives of Orange County!

This week, I’m taking on Lynne! Just to set the record straight, Lynne is my least favorite housewife. I don’t know what it is about her, but I’m just not warming up to her.

Last week’s episode was extremely catty and Tamra showed off her claws as she successfully attempted to get Gretchen drunk.

It was impossible to ignore Gretchen’s suggestive ways, but I managed to focus on Lynne (another new comer to the show). Lynne’s show-intro states: “I’m obsessed with being young!”

From past episodes, it’s clear that Lynne is a real Weight Watchers encyclopedia, because she knows the calorie count of every food.

It’s true that she has a very slim figure even after having had kids, but although this 40-something-year-old rich housewife might fool everyone with her size zero body, her face and her skin scream 70!

It’s obvious that Lynne has spent way too much time in the sun with little SPF protection. And, from a distance, with all that TV makeup you can still tell that she must have severe skin damage.

It’s still mind boggling to me that some women don’t understand that the sun is the most significant “ager” of all and accounts for 80-90% of premature aging!

My recommendation is that Lynne needs to see a cosmetic dermatologist to refresh her complexion. If she takes my advice,  her youthful skin will match her youthful body!

Ever wonder what Lynne (the housewife on the hunt for the fountain of youth) is trying on during her frequent visits to shopping at South Coast Plaza? Well clearly Lynne loves Intermix (a favorite of the Real Housewives of NYC as well), and she really loves Herve Leger.  We have seen both Lynne and Gretchen trying on Herve Leger dresses throughout the show.  Including the time when Gretchen put down her fiance’s plastic for this $1,250 stunner…

But when is the love for Leger too much? Perhaps when you are allowing your 15 year-old to wear a Leger Bondage dress to lunch? Even her daughter’s boyfriend told her it was a bit much (I won’t repeat what he said, but it wasn’t exactly what a freshman in high school would want to hear from her man).

What do you think? Was Lynne overboard in allowing her daughter to wear the same dress as Victoria Beckham?

I’ll be honest, The Real Housewives of Orange County is my guilty pleasure. I’ve been watching the show since Season One and it’s like an addiction from one week to next, because I WANT to know what’s happening in the lives of these super-privileged housewives.

A few episodes ago, we had to say bye-bye to Lauri, because she decided to put family first (read: her son Josh was dealing with a few personal problems).

In last week’s episode (I caught up on the Saturday night re-run, because the show is much more fun with a glass of wine in hand), Lauri came back to have lunch with my favorite blond bombshell Tamra.

Now, I know that these housewives have enough money to feed a small impoverished country, but the recent recessionary economy has affected everyone. Many cosmetic doctors around the world have reported a serious decline in business. And doctors from Orange County (the Mecca of cosmetic rejuvenation) have seen procedures shrink by 30 to 40 percent (as reported recently in the New York Times).

It seems as though everyone is cutting back on their cosmetic rejuvenation procedures except for Lauri, whose face was very rigid when she spoke and barely moved when she smiled. The interesting thing is that we’ve witnessed Tamra getting her beauty injections, but hers are so much more natural. I’d say Lauri needs to cut back or else she’ll soon start looking like Ivana Trump or Joan Rivers.
