Financial disclosure records show that the Republican National Committee has spent $150,000  on clothes and accessories for Sarah Palin and her family since  Senator John McCain picked her as his Vice Presidential running mate in late August.

Given her recent  switch from North Face to Armani we decided to take a look in her shopping bag and show you the luxe items that go into making a candidate fashion-forward. Below are a sampling of items from recent jaunts to upscale department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.

We’re going to miss Alexis when she’s gone (yes, that’s a spoiler of sorts). However, while she’s still around, we’re going to do everything we can to report on her fabulous fashion choices.
