I was watching the 2008 American Music Awards and saw that Kate Walsh, aka Addison Montgomery lead character in Private Practice, was presenting an award. I also noticed her much shorter red hair.

Kate Walsh’s hair has been the object of desire of many women (myself included), and I have to say that although the rage is to go short -it does look sleek and sexy on celebs like Victory Beckham, Katie Holmes (aka Mrs. Tom Cruise), Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy) and Eva Longoria Parker - I found it really didn’t work for Kate Walsh.  Result? I felt the shorter bob made her look very o-r-d-i-n-a-r-y.
