Hi SeenON! I was watching the latest episode of Burn Notice this week and Michael Westen was wearing alternate sunglasses as well as his usuals. What make/model are they so I can get some for myself? Thanks! -Kelley

If there’s one thing the cast of Burn Notice has become notorious for over the show’s three seasons of production, it’s their illustrious eyewear. From Fiona’s Dolce and Gabbanas to Michael’s Oliver Peoples, we haven’t seen any show make a name for itself in the accessories department quite like this one. Thus, we can understand your obsession, Kelley, with wanting to ID Michael’s alternatives seen on this week’s episode. Discover what we found after the jump.

We’re going to have to turn to the wardrobe department on this one. We perused the continuity shots from the set and couldn’t find any info on Michael’s alternate sunglasses. In the meantime, we did find a close match with these Alexai Sunglasses from Tom Ford available at Bergdorf Goodman. When you get to the site, search “Tom Ford Alexai Sunglasses.” They offer the same smokey shield and sleek design as Michael’s with subtle detail at the temples.

ok, then so what is the brand that Fiona is wearing in the last couple of episodes that is rectangular with a slight cateye in black. She is only wearing them in her black work suit…when working as a bodyguard etc. I have searched high and low on all my favorite sources.

These are no where near the same glasses. The partition in the middle is completely different. Ill wait for the real ones. Compare them to this screen shot and you’ll see the difference.

Still no word on what brand the actual sunglasses are? The Tom Ford’s appear to be a fairly close match, but I would really like to know what they really are.

Someone please figure out what these glasses are. They are probably the best looking shades i’ve ever seen next to an old pair of versaces i once owned. Please just try and find the original, that last thing i need is variants or similar look alikes.

I’m just watching an episode of NCIS (its a finale of a season on TV in Australia atm where the director dies I think) AND I just saw Xiva wearing pretty much the IDENTICAL glasses to the ones we are after!!!

So, if anyone follows NCIS / knows where to go to source those glasses please lend us your services – I will do my best tonight.

I’ve posted two links just in case one doesn’t work, and if both fail I have a fool proof back up. Search ‘BCBG Max Azria Melrose Sunglasses’ in Google. The colour is a little off but I’m sure someone would sell them in the right colour. If someone does find a pair with the right colour please let me know.

That’s totally awesome you found the sunglasses and that they are not too expensive. WORST THING ISSSSS ahhhhhhh, doenst look like they make them anymore. Not one single place on the net that sells BCBG Max Azria Melrose Sunglasses anymore. all the places say “discontinued” or “do not stock anymore” BCBG do not even list that model on their website anymore. guess it was a limited edition thing. damn i wanted these sunglasses bad. only way to get them would be to goto china and find the factory where they are made. the glasses were listed as being manufactured there.

good job Michael! shades are important especially is certain laditudes….I lived further up north before (in CA) and moving back down south I could not leave the house without. I suppose in Miami it is even more so that way.

In one of the more recent episodes in the season this winter of 2010, Michael revisits an old friend as “Johnny.” He is wearing a very sharp black suit and a pair of black sunglasses. The design on the tempel’s have 6 dots or 6 stars or something like that. I was wondering what they were?
