Shoptalk: Jillian Harris’s Stunning White Gown on The Bachelorette Premiere

Hey Kathryn - Many of your fellow readers have also asked us about this stunning, sparkly white dress from The Bachelorette, and we found out some details! But first, here’s a pic:

Here’s what Jillian told People StyleWatch about the dress - it’s vintage!
“First things first! I searched long and hard for the perfect gown. The one we settled on was vintage, and had been worn on the red carpet. (That’s quite a big history for one little dress!) I felt incredible in it, but it did need a lot of work to help it fit me like it did. The only sad part is, the driveway outside the house is sprayed down before shooting to give it a nice glimmer, so the bottom of my gown got wet while I was waiting for all the men to arrive.”
Have no fear, however. We found some similar looks that are sure to scratch your itch for a white goddess gown like Jillian’s.
Option one is a Marc Bouwer Cleopatra gown that’s more flowy and ethereal than Jillian’s original, but has the same sparkle. Click here to check it out in more detail.

Those Dresses just don’t do it like the one she wore…I loved the back with the rhinestones it was stunning. I am running for a healthy product, Verve, spokesmodel search this year and would absolutely love to find a dress like that. Just gorgeous!!

I hear you. Sometimes the vintage dresses just can’t be replicated - especially in ready-to-wear collections! I still have my feelers out for some other options, though…

Unfortunately, while they’re all lovely, they don’t compare. I’m sure it was extensively tailored to fit her perfectly, but the fabric, the fold at the neck and the cut are absolutely exquisite. A sexy, elegant gown. Perfect wedding dress.

As far as the neckline goes, I could not find anything similar but if you love the slinky look, i highly recommend Amy Michelson, http://www.amymichelson.com, her “millionaire” and “bling” dresses have glitzy back detail. They also fit amazingly well….
