Katherine Heigl and Ellen Pompeo-Best and Worst Emmy Dresses

My ‘best’ and ‘worst’ dressed awards both go to women on ABC Grey’s Anatomy. I thought Katherine Heigl looked absolutely amazing in Escada while Ellen Pompeo’s John Galliano for Dior dress fell flat. The purple crushed velvet creation was ill-fitting in the bust and the material was far too heavy for a hot August evening.

Candice Bergen had the ugliest outfit last night. Huge belt with Western-style buckles all around it, a skirt that gave her no charity at all, and that shirt? Oy. I love her as an actress, but her sense of style needs help.

I loved Katherine Heigl’s outfit, but I can’t stand that type of hairstyle. Sure, it’s a nod to a previous era, but it just looks ugly to me.
