A high profile affair caught on tape? A landlord found dead in the pool? An indecent dinner proposal and, conversely, a rather appropriate one? The premiere of the new Melrose Place on the CW certainly didn’t waste any time hooking our attention in last night’s “Pilot” episode. But what really had us on the edge of our seats was Ella Simms - more specifically her clothes.

Need proof that Ella will be the one to watch this season? Check out this Black Halo Jackie O Dress that she wore while toasting poolside to Sydney with the gang at the end of last night’s episode. From its diagonal collared neckline to its structured cap sleeves and scoop back, this sizzling silhouette was certainly enough to get David hot and bothered.

The said lusty lady was the unwavering scene-stealer. In fact, the pilot pretty much felt like the Ella Simms runway show, and we were taking notes with every turn. We can’t wait to see what this savvy chick has in store for the rest of the season.
