SO!: Have you seen any trends lately that fit a certain stereotype?

ES: I think that trends are inspired by cultures and right now it seems that everything is inspired by the Native-American culture. It’s the exaggerated boho look. Everything that I see has a feather on it. I call the look BFF - beads, feathers and fringe.

SO!: We have to ask - what was your high school style?

ES: I was very fashionable and outgoing in high school. I was the class clown. I never went to class and was always goofing off. I was also a dancer and would always make my costumes for my dances. I definitely dressed the part.

SO!: Is there anything that you would have done differently to any of the looks created in the last episode?

ES: I think a lot of the looks were off the mark. I would have taken the stereotypes and exagerrated them with something on trend. Such as a bowtie for the preppy look, or  I would have put the nerd look in a high-waisted pant. I think the designers were too serious with this challenge.

SO!: Do you agree with Merlin winning?

ES: No! That was the ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life. I really liked Reco’s, and I don’t want to like Reco’s work. I think that the dress was so cute and smart. It is a piece that can be offered in so many colors and worn in so many ways.

SO!: Do you agree with Angel losing?

ES: I think Charlotte Ronson brought up a good point that there was just too much black in the middle of Angel’s outfit. I think that Angel had no excuse for not knowing what a B-Girl dresses like, especially being in New York. I think a lot of people should have been asked to leave, but I agree with the judge’s decision.
