Heidi tells Stephanie that her “princess wedding” to Spencer is officially on. Then she asks Stephanie to persuade Lauren to come to the nuptials.
Lauren tells Stephanie that it wouldn’t make a difference to anyone if she attends Heidi’s wedding, so she’s not going.
Heidi is elated when she finds the perfect wedding gown, but her mood is dampened when Stephanie tells her she doesn’t think Lauren is coming to the ceremony.
Things get a little tense at brunch when Audrina reveals that she is going to Heidi’s wedding and even Lo might attend.
Audrina, Lo and Stephanie get ignored by Brody, Frankie and Jayde even though they are all sitting at the same table.
Kelly Cutrone approaches Stephanie at the Nylon part and the two get into a heated conversation about why Stephanie was fired.
The next day, Heidi stops by People’s Revolution to personally deliver Lauren’s invitation to the wedding.
Lauren tells Heidi, “I don’t want one of the most amazing people I’ve ever known to disappear” before giving her a hug goodbye.
Lauren gets an unexpected phone call from Spencer after Heidi leaves.
Spencer calls Lauren and apologizes for spreading rumors about her. He makes a plea for Lauren to attend his and Heidi’s wedding, because it would be “life-changing for Heidi.”

At lunch with Heidi and her family, Spencer tries to gain some ground with Bill, who proves to be hard to win over.
Heidi tells Spencer that her “real cowboy, manly-man” dad Bill is coming to town, and Spencer will be the first boyfriend he’s ever met. She cautions Spencer to be nice.
Heidi’s dad Bill wasn’t too thrilled about Spencer eloping with Heidi, but he eventually warms up and invites Spencer to hang out one-on-one.
Lauren tells Brody during dinner that she has to fire Stephanie the next day, to which Brody responds, “I told you so.”
Brody cautions Lauren that her firing Stephanie may ruin their friendship.
Spencer pleads his case to Heidi’s dad, Bill, as he tries to get permission to marry Heidi.
Bill gives Spencer permission to marry Heidi, but cautions, “Remember your father-in-law carries a big gun.”
“When you mess up, obviously these are the consequences,” a tearful Stephanie says to Lauren after Lauren fires her.
Lauren engulfs Stephanie in a big hug before Stephanie leaves People’s Revolution after her firing.
Stephanie tells Heidi about Lauren firing her and wonders how it will affect their friendship.
While out to lunch with Lo, Lauren also talks about firing Stephanie. “I don’t know if I’ve ever made somebody cry before,” Lauren says.
Lo tells Lauren that no matter what happens, Lauren did what she had to do in a tough situation.
Spencer takes Heidi on a Ferris wheel ride at Santa Monica pier where he tells her that he got permission from her dad to marry her.
