As if the delectable fashion and drama on the show isn’t enough, Desperate Housewives fans have something else to look forward to this season.

According to Entertainment Weekly, ABC has recruited Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry to produce a series of eight commercials for Sprint that will unfold as a weekly soap opera. The goal? Pausing the fast-forward phenomenon.

Talk about making a bold fashion statement! This Optional Strapless Dress from See by Chloé finds its way on none other than the lovely Edie Britt on this Sunday’s “Crime Doesn’t Pay” episode of Desperate Housewives.

Wear the staps up and pair with your favorite handbag for a vibrant day look as refreshing as a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. Or let your hair down and go strapless like Edie for a sexy anytime getup that refuses to be ignored. Pair with floral Stuart Weitzmans, gold hammered hoops and plenty of sass to complete Edie’s sensational springtime look.

Does anyone know who makes the yellow dress Edie wore on “The Best Thing That Ever Happened” episode of Desperate Housewives? She’s wearing that dress while she’s standing in her bedroom talking to her psycho husband and remembering when she first met Eli Scruggs, the handyman who just died. Any ideas?-swotr

We looked everywhere for that dress! It’s the “Marliyn” dress by Catherine Malandrino. A lot of retailers have changed out their inventories since the show filmed in 2008, and we are only left with inspired-by looks - fabulous ones at that! Check out this A-line dress that has some similar features:
