On last night’s season finale of Dancing With The Stars, Shawn Johnson wore a sensational black and gold cocktail dress to dance her final Cha-cha-cha number. But who knew it would also turn out to be party attire? Not only were Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas crowned champions of the dance floor, but they also win our vote for last night’s best dressed. And we were so inspired by Shawn’s celebration wear that we tracked down some similar dresses – gorgeous, glittery beaded and sequin-adorned ones at that!

Want a quick and easy makeup look straight from this week’s episode of Dancing With The Stars? We recently caught up with the show’s head makeup artist Melanie Mills to find out which products, exactly, gave dancer Shawn Johnson that elegant and oh-so-glamorous glow.

To get Shawn’s blissful ballroom look, Melanie suggests starting with DuWop Crush Powder on the eyes. Follow with Kevyn Aucoin Shadore powder for cheeks as pink as bubble gum. And if you want luscious glossy lips? Melanie says to start with MAC’s Lip Pencil in Cedar, coat with MAC’s Signature Lipstick and finish with Stila’s Lipgloss in Apricot! There you have it – five great makeup products, one classically beautiful look.

Lil Kim and Derek took the reigns on this week’s episode of Dancing With The Stars pulling out an astounding combined routine score of 56! And regardless if you were rooting for Team Mambo or Team Tango, you can’t deny that Chelsie Hightower looked hot – sizzling, in fact. She and Ty managed a commendable 52 for the group and individual routines, and we think they got a little help from Chelsie’s glistening gold flapper ensemble. Its radiant fringe-embellished tiers, its deep V-neckline, its sexy short cut – you couldn’t miss it. And why not treat yourself to one of your own? We recommend this Gold Jovani Fringe Flapper Dress if you’re looking to turn heads and heat up the dance floor – just like Chelsie!

Melissa and Tony did it again! This week on Dancing With The Stars, Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani secured the top spot on the dance floor for another round with their nearly perfect ballroom number (hey, a 29 is pretty much flawless). And Melissa did it all with injured ribs. Bravo guys!
A feat like that is certainly impressive. But what really grabbed our attention this week was the throwback group routine. We were so inspired by the modern twist on the retro black and white looks from the dancers that we went ahead and found our own!
The Theory Marisca Cupid Dress is ideal for summer socials while the Thayer Two Tone Dress will vamp up your business-like silhouettes with its intoxicating neckline and short skirt. Whichever groovy dress you choose, you’ll have a sensational new way to enjoy the coming season!

Just when we thought they couldn’t be beat, not one but two couples dethrowned the reigning king and queen of the dance floor, Gilles and Cheryl. On this week’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, Lil’ Kim and Melissa stole the said couple’s thunder with commendable scores of 28 and 27 respectively. But the look that truly stole our hearts? Shawn Johnson’s goddess-inspired getup.
Donning a celestial white asymmetrical gown and strappy sandals, we think this is the best Shawn has looked all season. Capture her winning wardrobe with this David Meister One Shoulder silhouette and finish with these T-Strap Sandals from Michael Kors. Together, they’ll create a gorgeous goddess look that will have all the men worshipping your impeccable taste!

It was no big surprise that reigning champions Gilles and Cheryl stole the judges’ hearts once again this week on Dancing With The Stars with their Paso Doble number (a near pefect score of 29!). And while we, too, can appreciate a nearly-flawless performance, it was two spinning beauties in flowing pink gowns that got our vote for best dressed: Lil Kim and Julianne Hough.
As you know, we here at SeenON! always have our eyes on fashion. Yes, many of the looks from the show are extravagant costume pieces that would only make sense on the dance floor. But we were so inspired by Lil Kim and Julianne to “think pink” this week that we couldn’t resist finding a few lovely pink gowns for those ladies who also fell in love with their elegant Viennese Waltz looks. Check them out:

Choose the Rachel Pally ‘Corey’ Dress to shine at any formal event. And for those girls looking to make a splash at the next spring social, this sweet babydoll dress should do the trick. No matter which dress you choose, you’ll look (and more importantly) feel like dance floor royalty.
