If last night’s premiere party for The Hills was any indication, Season 3 is going to be hotter than ever. We met the cast at last night’s Malibu fete as they walked the red carpet at the LG House Malibu and got insider access into all of the drama, fashions, and fun surrounding MTV’s hit show. Spencer and Heidi arrived first, looking very blonde and joined at the hip. Heidi wore a backless black and white mini-dress from Rumor Boutique with sky-high Yves Saint Mary Janes. Who cares what Spencer wore. After walking the red carpet the twosome opted out of the festivities…not surprising given the current drama with the rest of the cast. Lauren and Audrina arrived together, both looking adorable. Lauren wore a gorgeous beige and black Goddess Dress by Alexander Wang while Audrina shimmered in a brightly sequined mini by Bebe. Tomorrow night the SeenON! team is attending the Season 3 premiere party for (our favorite guilty pleasure!) The Hills. With the buzz-worthy third season airing next Monday on MTV, controversy and questions abound. Did Spencer really propose to Heidi? Will Lauren and Heidi ignore each other at the party? And of course…what will the girls be wearing!? I predict Lauren will wear a dress from her new clothing line which launches next month. The line has a cool, comfortable ‘Rachel Pally vibe’ and the knit jersey collection of dresses, tops and leggings will come in fall’s hottest colors including black, ivory, navy and burgundy. Lauren wore a navy mini-dress from the line to a recent appearance on MTV’s TRL and looked absolutely adorable. With Season 3 of The Hills just around the corner, we got the hotties from the cast to dish on the products, brands, and places that keep them oh-so-cool. Wonder how rising-star Audrina get glowing? Not to be left out here are my highlights from our launch festivities at the Boulevard3. My favorite guest would have to be Jennifer Bryan, the costume designer from “Las Vegas”. Not only are her & her team a joy to work with, her enthusiasm is contagious for fashion. She not only generously let us borrow some “Las Vegas” fashions to make the party style shine she was so tickled to meet one of her favorite designers from “Project Runway,” Mychael Knight. When it turned out he was a big fan of hers’ as well…it was a love fest all around. Also to be noted were the girls from “The Hills” Lauren & Audrina who couldn’t have been sweeter. I gotta say that I wasn’t expecting much from reality stars, especially ones their age, but they handled themselves well & were grateful & gracious. I guess there is hope for the future of television after all.
