Its a Jungle Out There
Thanks to NBC, Thursday nights are about to get a lot more fashionable. Premiering tonight, Lipstick Jungle follows three of Manhattan’s most powerful women as they juggle career, family, love, and friendship.
The latest from famed Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell, the all-star cast includes Brooke Shields, Lindsay Price, Kim Raver, and (hello 1980’s crush!) Andrew McCarthy.
I visited the set last week in NYC and got an inside peek into the show’s fabulous fashions and I can assure you…you will not be disappointed! Two words…shoes and bags. Following in the well-heeled footsteps of Manhattan’s first lady (aka Carrie Bradshaw), the ladies of Lipstick Jungle have accessories to die for. Some of my favorites from tonight’s episode include Nico’s super sexy Christian Louboutin leopard print pumps, Wendy’s classic Lambertson Truex Crocodile bag, and Victory’s uber-glam Giuseppe Zanotti boots.
Another fun secret from the show? Look for the fashions to shift slightly in subsequent episodes…with a new Costume Designer the show’s look gets even more refined and gorgeous. Happy shopping!
